Schoeller Arca Systems has developed for Franziskaner wheat beer, part of the international brewery Inbev, 2 new bottle crates. A 11 x 0,5 ltr bottle crate and a 20 x 0,5 ltr bottle crate, both provided with in-mould labels and soft touch grips. The new crates are part of the new brand positioning of Franziskaner as a unique beer with a unique taste, an innovation for the whole world made in Bayern.
To realize a fast market introduction, the moulds of the Beck’s crate (another brand of Inbev) have been used as basis for the production of the crates. For the soft touch grips the new technique of overmoulding has been applied. The new Franziskaner bottle crates show that the colour of the crate, the in-mould labels and the soft touch grips can give a complete new look and feel to existing crate models.
