Full acquisition of BiPP - Schoeller Arca Systems reinforces pallet activities

With the full acquisition of all shares in Belgium based Basic Industrial Plastic Pallets bvba (BiPP), Schoeller Arca Systems is reinforcing its plastic pallet activities further. BiPP used to be a 50/50 joint-venture of Schoeller Arca Systems with Lankhorst Recycling.

Schoeller Arca Systems* excels in design, development and production of both custom made products as well as standard packaging solutions for all sorts of industries and trades: food, beverage, retail, agriculture, chemical, pharmaceutical, automotive and so on. Plastic pallets form a major part of the product range for system solutions.

Plastic pallets are constantly gaining market share because of their outstanding properties in comparison with wood: excellent hygiene, constant quality and dimensions, no splintering, no nails, no water absorption and relatively light weight. Added to that is the freedom in design, to meet specific customer needs. Hence plastic pallets play a major role in the supply chain by moving goods faster, better, safer and more cost-effectively.

Basic Industrial Plastic Pallets from Leopoldsburg, Belgium is known as the leading supplier of plastic pallets with the most comprehensive portfolio of plastic pallet solutions for one way, multi trip, light and heavy duty purposes in the European market place. The company combines in-depth knowledge and experience with plastics materials and processing technology development with a thorough understanding of the requirements of pallet handling, maintenance and plastics recycling.
The company being an integral part of Schoeller Arca Systems, customers will benefit of an even more comprehensive product range, greater innovative power and geographical spread. With more than fifty locations worldwide, Schoeller Arca Systems can offer global as well as local partnership, supporting its customers in increasing sales and logistics efficiency throughout the supply chain.

* Early 2005 Schoeller Wavin Systems and Arca Systems joined forces. Schoeller Arca Systems is the world market leader in plastic packaging systems for materials handling with more than 30 production and sales operations in practically all European countries and on the American continent.
