Beginning of October 2011 the monastery brewery Neuzelle GmbH, Neuzelle, Brandenburg, Germany introduced a new 20 x 0.5l beer crate for their entire market assortment. The new crate is produced in the Schoeller Arca Systems Monheim plant and stands out by its modern, trend-setting and distinctive design.
The crate is designed according to the breweries special requirements. Its state of the art design differentiates the crate from the competition.
Ergonomic and visual features
The in-mould label of the crate is covered with a protective durable plastic film that enables a brilliant showcasing of the breweries brand, in order to create brand-awareness. Ergonomic features like the a cost effective alternative for the soft touch grip, facilitates the handling and allows high carrying comfort for the end-user.
By creating visually appealing crates and by thinking about consumer ergonomics in the design, Schoeller Arca Systems gives the Neuzelle brewery an edge in positioning its brands. Nearly all important developments in the field of beverage crates originated at Schoeller Arca Systems.
Neuzelle monastery brewery GmbH
Neuzelle GmbH is one of the oldest, family breweries in the Brandenburg region. The brewery produces approximately 40,000 Hektoliter beer annually and employs 41 people. It is best known for its Neuzeller "Anti-Aging-Bier”. The brewery also produces locally successful Schwarzbier, Pilsner, Bock, cherry beer, energy beer, a beer specifically developed for bathing, and a berry-flavored soda used in making ‘Potsdamer beer’.
Helmut Fritsche purchased the Neuzeller brewery in 1992, which has been producing beer commercially for over 400 years, and is situated on the grounds of a 12th century Catholic
