Tray Concept
The Tray Concept is a highly optimized packaging system developed to safely and efficiently transport complete and/or complex products and mechanical components.
The main idea with the Tray Concept is to optimize the supply chain by:
Minimize the packaging material used
- Minimizing the envirionmental impact
- Maximizing payload
Maximizing the usage in transport in storage both as filled and empty units
- Maximizing usable volume in transport
- Minimize volume when returned/in storage
Providing for simple and user friendly handling of the system
- Tray and container components of low weight
- Positive component placement simplifies

Protection
The product-unique trays safeguards that only the part of the components suitable for load transfer are loaded and that the components are separated from each other during transport. Packaging sets for complete units can be fitted with shock absorbers and put through a transportation and handling test before being implemented.
All packaging components can be made from ESD-approved materials enabling the packaging material to enter EPA without risk of ESD-related damages. This will enable fast and efficient material flows with a minimum of resources and time consuming manual handling. Also, being shielding the container offers excellent product protection outside of EPA.
Service
Schoeller Arca Systems can administrate and dimension the packaging based on production forecasts and the information in the Tracking System (a web-based registering program). The cost of the packaging and the service can be invoiced per shipped component or per unit of time.
