Company history
In June 1998 a little known plastic moulding company: Perstorp Plastic Systems, bought itself out of the Perstorp chemical and materials group, and around eighteen months later changed its name to Arca Systems.
February 2005 saw the merger of Arca Systems with Dutch company, Schoeller Wavin Systems. For many years, the two companies were recognised as market leaders in their respective fields: Schoeller Wavin as the leader in the European crate and tray market for the beverage industry, and Arca Systems as the leader in plastic returnable packaging used in a variety of industries.
Schoeller Arca Systems is the world’s largest manufacturer of plastic returnable packaging for materials handling. Nick James is the Sales Director of Schoeller Arca Systems in the UK, which is based in Abingdon, Oxfordshire.
